High-paying Google Keywords
April 18, 2005 12:11 AM
High-paying Google Adsense Keywords:
mesothelioma $84.08
mesothelioma attorneys $80.93
mesothelioma lawyers $69.04
malignant pleural mesothelioma $55.95
Asbestos Cancer $54.17
mesothelioma symptoms $53.66
peritoneal mesothelioma $52.27
trans union $51.91
This is part of a list of how much advertisers pay per click for those keywords, but this information could be out-of-date or even just made up.
I don't get anyting close to these ammounts for clicks on my sites, even when you work in that Google keeps at least half of what advertisers pay per click.

Hi,
On top of looking for high Cost Per Click, you need to also look at the total Revenue. There's a nice balance there, and unfortunately most people seem to focus mainly on the highest paid keywords. In addition, what's happening is that there is a lot more competition to get people to your site for high paying keywords, which means what little traffic there is, is already being competed for very heavily. Just look at keywords such as "mesothelioma" or "asbestos".
Our company, Symbiotic.com, has actually created a Google Adsense Keyword List, but we've made it slightly different than most. We took the same list, with the all the information coming from Google itself and not Overture, and sorted it 3 different ways. The first is Bid Value, the second by Traffic, and the third and most important, by Total Revenue! This way it gives our customers a really good idea of exactly how much they can make, not just how much per click. Although this is a small distinction, they resulting revenue can be significantly increased!
Not only that, we've manually gone through our list and filtered it and removed highly controversial keywords such as "mesothelioma" and "asbestos". On top of being highly competitive (as mentioned before), Google closely monitors these keywords because of the controversy surrounding them. We don't want to be involved with these keywords and we feel our customers are better off without such keywords.
On top of all this, we're providing every purchaser with a "The 27 Secret Tips and Tricks to Greatly Increase Your Google AdSense Revenue!" guide to help them maximize their earnings. After all, what's the point of buying a list if you don't know how to properly use it?
If you're interested, come take a look at this Google Adsense Keyword List.

In addition to the above it is also important to note the type of content that you have as that can determine how many visitors you get, which everybody knows are critical to the probability of hits on adsense ads.

A site made for users and for the sake of content ranks high in google and returns good revenue even if the keywords aren't highly paid.

Few people can actually live off the money from their websites. As long as I can cover the hosting costs, I'm happy with it.

I am almost sure google does not share more than 15-20% of their nett keyword revenue with publishers. Also this share is dependent upon country of publisher and also the country from where the clicks originate. I am in India and get peanuts for all these so called high paying keywords. Only once in a while , I receive a USD1.00 click and I get all excited and keep persevering. I guess , this is how google keeps us interested.
As the bidding for the keywords is dynamic and the value keeps changing hour to hour , it is almost impossible to design a high paying keyword website. At least this is my experience. I have seen my revenues flucctuate between USD 10 / day to USD 30 / day on the same keywords / website . This shows to me that things are highly unstable at google adsense.
I enjoy the high paying days and rue the low paying ones. Trying to avearge out at least USD 15 / day and not really suceeding . I have been at it now for almost 6 months.

It all depends on what keyword goes with each ad. Some sites have keywords that pay $20/click but also keywords that pay $0.08/click ...

I think the keyword rates differ from country to country, I had a site about mesothelioma, the return was no where near the expected results.
Thanks for your ideas.
