Photos from Above - Looking down at Boeing and Mt. Rainer
Sunday, February 15, 2004
These photos Boeing photos were taken while flying into SeaTac from the north. The photos of Mount Rainer were taken as we left the Seattle area to go back to DC. I actually don't know if the mountain in the other photos is really Mount Rainer, so if you know otherwise, let me know.

This is 90 looking West. It's funny because it looks like this huge highway goes into some small underground parking lot on the island, but actually it goes through the island and comes out the other side, Transport Tycoon-style.

This shot is actually looking East.....
The I-90 roadway comes out of a tunnel under a hill (at the bottom of the picture) on the Seattle side of Lake Washington then goes under the "lid" on Mercer Island on the way to the East side and connections into the I-405, Factoria, Bellevue and Issaquah and Points East.

Dylan, This is the East side of Boeing Field (King County International). The air terminal and the Boeing Field FBO's are located on the east side in your photo.
The Boeing Plant (Plant II) is on the west side of the airfield. If you could slide the photo to the area hidden in the lower right corner of the photo, you would see the plant.
