And today is my brother Trevor's birthday. Happy birthday! If my math is right he's 25. Otherwise he's -25.

My brother's high school wrestling team, the Hammond Golden Bears, are undefeated. The match this Saturday has been denoted Senior Day in honor of the Senior wrestlers. My brother, Jared, is one those seniors.
My family and I will be there to cheer them on, and I might get some pictures of his match online here.
Tomorrow I'll be going to the World Cafe Live in Philadelphia to see my cousin, Matt Mayers, perform. He's the Mayers of English & Mayers. I'm looking forward to the show and catching up with family.
Matt is also one of the Mayers of the Mayers and Mayers Productions, a production company in Philadelphia that he and his brother, Ryan Mayers, founded this past year. They have some great clips of their work on their web site. Some of my favorites: the 
promos for CityLivin.com with Fred Barnett, Blackout, and Living History. Ryan and Matt have been making videos ever since we were kids so the fact that they are now doing this for a living is incredibly cool.
As I write this my two lucky brothers (Trevor, Jared) are in New York at today's taping of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. They're in New York with my dad on vacation. Realizing the Daily Show was taping, they head to the building, and got in the stand-by line for those without tickets. Well there were just two open seats, so my dad gave them the honor and is hanging out in New York until the show is done taping.
Natalie Portman and Tom Cruise are both there according to my dad. Sometimes they tape more than one interview in one day. Tom's interview will be shown next week. Knowing my dad he'll wait by the stage exit for autographs and photos.
